Purchasing Clerk

This position is responsible for performing a significant portion of the purchasing duties. Be the point person regarding the materials and supplies that come into the organization which include duties such as accepting and editing purchase requests, verifying appropriate approval and procedures have been followed, corresponding with suppliers for quotations, preparing purchase orders and performing buying duties. Provide clerical support to the accounting department as assigned by the Accounting Manager and/or COO. Minimum education requirements include a 2 year Associate’s degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent work experience. Proficient in use of Excel and Word.
